School bus travel is very safe in Ontario. Injuries and fatalities, which are very rare, happen more often outside the school bus as students are boarding and leaving the bus or crossing the street.
Ontario’s Transportation Consortia have provided this video to show the new Amber Warning Lights on school buses, in effect July 1st 2022.

Important: If your child requires specialized transportation for a special needs program, medical condition, or disability, please speak to the school Principal or Special Education teacher.
Or if a student lives in two homes, due to shared custody living arrangements, please speak to the school about completing the Request for Joint Custody Transportation Form.
